4 Days Extreme White Water Rafting

The white water rafting can be experienced in Jinja district which lies in southeastern Uganda, approximately 54 miles (87 km), by road, east of Kampala. The town is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, near to the source of the Nile River. The nearby Owen Falls
Dam regulates the flow of the White Nile and generates electricity. Jinja is the largest metropolitan area in Jinja District, and is considered the capital of the Kingdom of Busoga. Local attractions include white-water rafting, Bunge jumping, wild Nile jet, the “Source of the Nile”.

Day1: Kampala-Jinja River Nile (wild Nile Jet)
After your breakfast from your hotel, embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Jinja a town endowed with sports tourism. Lunch at your lodge and after experience the wild Nile jet racing up the rapids at breathtaking speeds powered by 450HP of motor, then sit quietly as our expert pilot explains a little of the magic settings you have reached. An unforgettable experience for the whole family (ages 5-85 years). Dinner and overnight at the heaven lodge Uganda or River Base Camp. Meal plan: H/B

Day2: Half Day White Water Rafting & Fishing along the Nile.
After breakfast, prepare for Heart-pounding whitewater rafting excitement; unequalled anywhere on the planet! Grade 5 – 31kms – 5/6 hours rafting: our rafting trips are the most popular ride on the Nile – over 40,000 people have rafted safely with Adrift in the last 14-years. Wild or Mild:Choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. Lunch, Late afternoon go for fishing excursions departing from Nile River Camp, targeting Nile Perch, Tilapia, Yellow Fish and on occasions Catfish using the following techniques, trawling, spinning and bait fishing. All fishing and safety gear is supplied.

Day3: Visit Source of the Nile-Nile High Bungee
After breakfast, visit the source of the Nile, The Source of the Nile is promoted as one of Jinja’s premier draw cards and tourists are bused in from Kampala to marvel at the start of this mighty river. In reality there is not a whole lot to see. Before the building of the Owen Falls Dam, this was the site of the Ripon Falls, where the Nile, known locally as Omugga Kiyira, thundered out of Lake Victoria on its long journey to the Mediterranean. Leap over the source of the Nile from one of the most spectacular bungee jumping sites in the world. We specialize in tandem jumps, water touches and full-moon jumps. Day4: Jinja-Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, take leisurely drive to Kampala with stopover at Ssezibwa falls, the beautiful and spiritual Ssezibwa falls have long been the favorite of the Kabaka’s. Here the “black- river water” tumbles over the rocks into the pool below and a traditional healer performs ceremonies for those seeking love, children, a good harvest, or successful business deal.
It is said that Kabaka Mwanga 11 planted a giant tree here to show his respect for the falls and Mutesa II planted another. Both trees are regarded as sacred gifts from the Kabaka’s. Whether you want to enjoy a picnic, explore the many local shrines or make an offering to the spirit, Ssezibwa is a wonderful place to visit. It is a 45 minutes drive from Kampala located along Jinja road after Mukono town. Turn right at Kayanja trading centre onto a dirt road and it is 1.5 km to the falls.
